“Does the Emeril airfryer have a plastic smell? I bought & returned an airfryer due to a strong plastic smell. I liked how the food cooked but could not get past the smell. Thank You”

Our Emeril Lagasse pressure airfryer has very strong plastic smell when using airfryer from Day 1. I thought it'd go away. Its been almost a year and I still get strong plastic smell. If someone can help me that would be great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think it does; you are supposed to run a cycle before using to burn off any factory coating, and that has a funny smell, but once that's done and you wipe it out, it's been fine. All I smell when I cook is the food.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Picked up a used one. The air fryer function stinks of plastic so bad I get a headache. The chromed plastic air intake is deformed from the heat. Cooks food fine though. Probably will sell as I cannot handle the smell.
