“My old thermostat has a jumper for RC and RH wire, do I need to copy this configuration for the jumper for this Emerson Thermostat? Thank you”

Somewhere in the installation instructions it indicates these are already jumpered (ie, internally). The display & thermostat worked fine for me connecting to only one, and the illustrated installation procedure actually addresses this. (The wifi alone didn’t work, but I don’t believe that the wiring had anything to do with that.)

It comes jumpered from factory. The wire terminal id's on the thermostat Do Not match what is on your furnace! Take a pic of old thermo. connections before removing. Zero install instructions on the box! Have to download Emerson app for instructions. Nice thermo once connected.
