- Answer Still works just like a normal thermostat would. If the internet goes out, you will just loose the ability to control functions through your app or smart device.

- Answer Somewhere in the installation instructions it indicates these are already jumpered (ie, internally). The display & thermostat worked fine for me connecting to only one, and the illustrated installation procedure actually addresses this. (The wifi alone didn’t work, but I don’t believe that the wiring had anything to do with that.)

- Answer The Sensi Touch 2 thermostat installation instructions are detailed with illustrations and I think very good WRT wiring. Just take reference pics before dewiring the old thermostat being replaced. Additional online YT videos are also always available. It helps to study up a bit on thermostat wiring tutorials (easily found) before you start so you have a basic thermostat wiring knowledge. ALSO, maybe check & photograph the wiring connections on your furnace, AC, and any accessories (eg, humidifier). But basically, be meticulous about photographing your EXISTING thermostat wiring connections - having that as a clear reference is critical.

- Answer I believe you can customize this in the app, I believe default was 40 was lowest cool, and 100 degrees Fahrenheit was high

QuestionI have a oil heating system as well as a central air system. Currently they are on separate thermostats. Can I combine the two systems on just one of these thermostats, or will I need two of them?

- Answer If they are both 24V systems - and I’m not sure this will be true for the oil heater, but don’t really know - I think the answer is yes. But you should check compatibility information available from Sensi.

Questioncan this be programed to come on for 15 minutes at a time? The nest I have now can only be programed to come on for a minimum of an hour at a time and i am looking for something that can be programed to come on for smaller increments of time.
