• This battery supplies 5,000 mAh at 5 volts. That equals 5 amp hours at 5 volts. So it will last 2.5 times longer than a 2 amp hour rated battery. Batteries are rated in amp hours, not just amps because as storage devices they supply amps for only a certain amount of time. Frank
