“I just bought an Epson WF-3640 printer. I have 7 unused cartridges left over from my current Epson XP-800 printer. Is it safe to use up my unused Epson 273 cartridges on my new Epson WF-3640 before I start using your recommended Epson 252 cartridges?”

Not likely. Printers rarely have cartridge portability.

Using the wrong cartridges could cause color problems, and worst case scenario might cause damage to the printer itself.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I own an XP-820,WF-3640,(2) Artisan 430 series.My feeling would be (1)they probably wound not fit.(2)they would only be interchangeable in the same family (i.e.)Xp-810,XP-820,WF -3620,WF-3640.Hope this helps.
