A:AnswerYou can't run a CD through the printer. At work we had CD printers, but they were expensive and I never used them. In the past, I had software to design CD labels and paper to print them. These sheets will feed through any printer and then the labels are peeled off and placed on the CD.
A:AnswerI have not tried actual card stock yet. I have used double sided glossy paper that is heavier than regular paper but not as heavy as card stock. I have used Epson for many years, never have I had a printer that was a stickler for wanting the settings on my computer to match the settings on the printer. I have always used the paper settings on my computer and the printer would set to that. Not this one, You have to actually set it on the printer as well. But does give you the option to 'continue printing'. I don't think there is an option for card stock. So when I do get around to printing on card stock. I will probably choose a photo paper setting and see what happens.
This printer has in the settings where you can check how many pages have been printed and the option to reset the counter, which I will definitely use. My last eco printer was still printing really good, but about the 3rd notice, it gave the notice of ' has reached the end of service life' and it died on the spot. Really upset me, because it was printing fine, the last page was perfect. In researching the issue, I found an article that said to reset the counter. Well, it was to the point of only turning on and off, nothing else. I had moved and did not bring the install disk with me, which that might have worked, I don't know. But this new printer has in the setting the option to check the counter and to reset it.
Even tho I paid more for this printer than the last one, it is smaller and actually feels sort of cheaply made, but it prints great. Even has a quiet mode setting. I don't have any complaints about this printer, but I am a big fan of epson. Love the tanks. I used to blow thru cartridges like a whirl wind, which is very costly. With the last one, I bought ink I know once, but maybe twice in 2.5 yrs. I still have ink left. The first one, refilling the ink tanks got pretty messy, but this new one, the bottles are designed to eliminate the spills.
I just did a test print on card stock. For settings I used letter size, plain white (printer) bright white in printer settings on computer). It printed just fine. No feed struggles or dragging. It did a great job.
Hope this helps you.

A:AnswerHello mickey123. Unfortunately, it looks like the paper used is thicker than the supported paperweight for the printer. The thickest paper the ET-2720 supports is 24lb (90 gsm). We always recommend enabling the thick paper option within the print settings for any thicker paper such as card stock. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
