The Epson guide does not anything about double sided scanning. It does print double sided though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure why people are saying this printer (Epson ET-3760) automatically scans double-sided. I bought it and tried to scan double-sided with windows and Epson scanning software, but it only scans single sided. Don't buy this printer if you want automatic double-sided scanning. I returned this and bought the HP Officejet Pro 9025 instead which is the same price for single-pass automatic double-sided scanning.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, does not scan double-sided...just prints 2-sided!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I want to reiterate that it does NOT scan double-sided in the ADF (automatic document feeder). Those people who say it does have obviously never tried. When you google for info on this you may be led to Epson support documents that say you can - but read carefully, those documents are NOT for this device. When you use he ADF, by default all pages are put into one PDF. Apparently I could scan one side at a time on the scanner glass and have those pages appended into one PDF, but so far I have not been able to figure out how to activate that option - so using the scanner glass results in one file for each page.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. But you can select "Add or edit pages after scanning" in the Epson Scan2 program on your computer. click Scan. You will need to be there during the scan because it wants to pull the pages sideways (clear jam then select Continue on the popup) so you will have to try to reduce by moving the pages straight. I have Correct Document Skew set to Contents Skew on Epson Scan2. While it will hold 20 pages in the ADF, it will jam far sooner, so you will have to remove pages from the output bin. Once it has scanned all the pages, flip them over to run thru 2nd time. Click the Add button on the Add Page popup. After the scanning is finished, click the Edit button on the Add Page popup. On the Editing Page popup you will then have to Hover Mouse over pages to try to figure out which page is the back of the 1st page. Drag it after the 1st page. Repeat for the page next to the one just dragged and move it after the 3rd page. God bless you if you have a lot of pages. Once you are done, click the Save button. I can understand that for cost reasons Epson would only have single side hardware scanning. But paying a programmer to port the code used on other scanners to ask the user to flip the pages then the software put in proper order is unforgivable!!! This is a great printer, but they even have a plastic film between the paper running thru the ADF and the glass. Wonder if it will add a tint to scans or even scratch marks in the future. Anyhow, if you are going to do more than occassional ADF scanning you will want to buy a devoted scanner (or like me, use an old HP all-in-one whose no longer able to accept new cartridges)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Other Epson scanners give you this option right when you are setting up to scan. This one does not. I've had nothing but trouble with this printer. It also scans first page of multi page document, runs the rest of the pages through but only saves the first page. I literally have to add a page in between each page. So frustrating. Not the quality printer you would expect from Epson.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it does not. Its super annoying that some people are telling people it does when it most definitely does NOT. The ADF will only scan the front of each page. You need a much more expensive printer to have that feature. It will PRINT two sided but NOT scan (or copy) two-sided with the ADF. You could do it manually with the flatbed but that would be crazy tedious if you had more than a few pages.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i have one and scan two sides
