Hello Enigma007. The ET-4850 includes automatic 2-sided printing as a feature, which means you can print a 2-sided copy. Unfortunately, the printer cannot do 2-sided scanning. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.

Please try again later.4/10/22: Not only will the Epson ET-4850 not do 2-sided scanning, we just bought it a couple months ago, and are now figuring out it also won't do 2-sided copying. I agree with Enigma007 -- seriously, Epson?? For $500, never would've guessed that it wouldn't do 2-sided of all the functions if it advertises as 2-sided printing. What a rip-off!!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Epson ET-4850 won't do 2 Sided Scanning with the Auto Feeder but Will Make 2 Sided Copies. Copy Setting 1 to 2 Sided Lift the Lid, manually put the document to be copied under, lined up properly. Press Copy, after 1 side is printed, the copier will stop, then you open the lid and you flip the document over, then press copy again to print he other side.
