NO! I have had nothing but trouble with this printer since installing Windows 11 on my computer. It won't scan anymore and doesn't want to connect at all most of the time. Don't buy it!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello dtc. Yes, the ET-4850 is compatible with Windows 11. Please visit our official Epson Support page to download the latest driver. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same issue that another user had. The Printer doesn't connect half the time and will scan, but once you scan I cannot find the location that the scan was stored to. It isn't in my documents or documents or pictures and it isn't in scans, the default location. I had an old HP that put scanned documents directly in to the my documents folder. I am not certain that it occurred to anyone at Epson to make an easily accessible folder the default folder.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Since updating to Windows 11, my laptop detects this printer only if the printer is powered up 1st (cant do tasks for an hour then turn printer on to get hard copy of work). Irritating, so will look for updated driver on Epson site to see if that'll work. Should be able to recognize a powere up device regardless of which one is on home network first!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does NOT work properly with Windows 11. The printer portion works, but the scanner does not and causes the device manager to constantly try to install it. Even after having downloaded all of the latest drivers from Epson, It does not work. This constant attempt at installation from the device manager causes a "hickup" "stutter" in your system, which is detrimental to playing any sort of games.
