Hello Eric. Native resolution is the physical resolution of the projector. Maximum resolution refers to the highest resolution signal the EF-100 can accept and display. If your video source uses a higher resolution than the native resolution of the projector, then it will scale the image. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
