- Answer Yes it does. Curiously, I had a set of cartridges left from my prior XP-6000. I tried to install them first, but the printer wanted the "starter" cartridges that came with the new printer. All is working good.

- Answer Yes you can print on a "printable" CD or DVD. You will find the cd holder on the bottom of the tray [pull it completely out and look underneath} that holds the 8.5 x 11 paper.
