Go into settings on FF program and hit the Enchancements tab. You have probably checked some of the enhancement options to apply to photos, like omit red eye etc. Go to the Apply These Enchancements tab and check "Directly to the scanned photo." This will eliminate a duplicate photo.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Epson Fastfoto software defaults to scan the original and make an enhanced copy with the same file name with an "a" added to the name, you can turn the enhancement option off in the settings. the software also has the of option of scanning the back side of your Photo at the same time if there is any writing or text detected and it makes the same file name with a "b" added the name if you need that option , you can change this in the settings as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You probably will be happy with the 2nd set. It saves automatically to a FastPhoto File. When you open that file, I just go up to the search bar and type a and all of the Enhanced will appear together and then you can copy and save and rename that new file with better pictures in it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a setting for auto enhance. It saves one copy of the original and one copy of the enhanced picture. You should be able to turn off the setting and only save the original scan.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Because you have it set to make corrections to the photo. When this is set it will make duplicate copies incase you don't like its corrections. You can adjust this in the settings. See photo attached
