- Answer if chromecast has bluetooth connection, you can send signal to bluetooth speakers or receiver.

QuestionHi, so I just bought this projector and when I got home I connected it to my xbox one through the hdmi port. It displays the picture amazingly but after about ten seconds it flashes black(as if losing the feed) and then returns This cycle repeats anyhelp?

- Answer Yes, it has hdmi inputs. I game on it more than I watch movies. I have it projecting around a 60" screen size or so. The darker the room the better. Comparing the price to most other 1080P projectors, I didn't expect it to be jaw dropping quality but I don't have any complaints so far. I've had it for about 4 months now and it's used daily.

- Answer That projector would be just fine. I just got one and love it completely. The speaker is pretty good for the classroom as well. It's not Bose, but it will do:) As for the projection size, you will have no problem going for a small size.

- Answer I have mine at 19 1/2 foot. At 16:9 format I have a 10 foot wide image but it is not at the largest zoom position yet. Stopped at that sixe due to the height of the image, for regular TV image (I think 4:3 ??) the height is 6 foot reaching from ceiling to some furniture under the screen. I am guessing that at the max zoom position the image would hit 12 foot wide.

QuestionI bought this projector today from bestbuy. When I tried connecting it to my laptop with HDMI cable, it says 'no signal'. It worked fine with vga cable. Any suggestion to make HDMI cable work?

- Answer Sorry. No 3D on this projector. Epson 2030 has 3D but has hdmi issues.

- Answer No, it only has a single speaker built in and no jack for supplemental speakers. I have my sound routed to a Dolby home receiver along with a DVD player.

- Answer The option that I see is LAN connection option. If you have USB wireless, I'm sure you can connect it, but you will need to check the settings once you do as I see the options shaded out and they only become available once it is plugged in and connected to the projector.

QuestionHow do you compare this with epson 2045 projector. 1040 says 3000 Lumens color and brightness, 2045 says 2200 Lumens color and brightness. However, 2045 is more costlier than 1040. Wanted to get a better picture before making a choice.

- Answer I cannot give a direct comparison, I have not seen the image from a 2045. However, I can say that the 1040 is bright enough to view in a room with windows having normal drapery. The colors don't wash out either in the daylight.

- Answer Yes, input. There is no sound output jacks in the projector. Many, if not all, audio visual media players or receivers have output options. For the best image you can use HDMI to the projector with the projector sound off and use RCA jacks for the audio to a stereo system or home theater receiver. There are numerous options for video and audio separations depending your AV equipment.

QuestionDoes the projector and the wall have to be a straight line or you can adjust the projector to correct the image in a wall that is not a straight line?

- Answer There are vertical and horizontal keystone adjustments. These adjustments can correct the image for minor misalignments but I don't believe it will correct for more than 10 to 12 inches of misalignment vertically or horizontally. I did have to use both the vertical and horizontal keystone to adjust for my ceiling mounted unit but used only small degree of the adjustment range, so the nearly foot adjustment is only a guessitmation based on my use.
