I've had the same issue with my 1060 and I bought mine in August of last year. No where near the max hours for a typical bulb and mine starts flickering after a while now in ECO mode. From what I have read through research is that it's a problem with the ECO mode in these projectors. It doesn't provide the right amount of power needed for the bulb to operate consistently. I'm thinking there is some truth to that because if you take it out of ECO mode and put it into Normal mode, the problem goes away. Kind of annoying because ECO mode is plenty of light in my opinion and I don't like the higher fan noise in normal mode.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The issue is indeed with the ECO mode. A workaround to the fan noise when in normal mode is to set the image mode to Game. This helps fix both the flicker and the fan noise.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.ya this happens in eco mode and mine is a brand new one; below the eco option there is something called light optimizer,,,just turn it on,,,the flickering seem to go away
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure it's not linked to subtitles. Seems that often, subs make screen flickering due to brightness compensation. If that is the case, changing some auto-image settings like HDR, or anything linked with auto contrast could save the day!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For us the solution for the time being is to change back and forth between ECO and Normal modes but it will slowly start flickering again in like an hour. I'm considering to change the lamp but I'm worried it's not the problem of the lamp but more likely of some inner part. It seems like some inner component has to be flushed or grounded for it to stop flickering. Changing image modes, brightness, contrast, you name it, has no effect.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine is flickering too. Ive been using for a couple of years always on eco mode. It says i have 1600 hours of lamp time left but i believe it can be the lamp. I hope it solves it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only way I found to stop the flicker and still keep the fan on low while in econo “Bright” mode is to change the brightness to 55-60%.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I would change the bulb that's getting a lot of use.
