• The projector has its own wi-fi built in or can be added to your network. However the app is not great in my opinion. I have found the direct cable with Apple adapters work best

• It connects both over wi-fi or hdmi cable. The cable works best using the Apple hdmi lightning adapter sold at Best Buy separately
