Somehow the "Android" volume gets turned way down. And this is a different volume setting from the primary "Epson" sound setting. I had the same problem. SOLUTION: Use "Google Assistant" on the remote, and say "Set Max Volume", this will turn the "Android" volume all the way up, then all you have to do is adjust the main (Epson) volume using the remote keys. Also make certain Google assistant is enabled by clicking "APPS" on the remote, and then clicking tools -> apps -> Google assistant, and click to enable. THIS IS A BEST IN CLASS PROJECTOR!!! BEAUTIFUL. ACCURATE, BRIGHT PICTURE, EVEN WITH THE LIGHTS ON!!! UNLIKE DLP PROJECTORS, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO RAINBOW EFFECT!!! ALSO: Replacement Bulbs for the Epson 2250 is around $60, DLP replacement bulbs can cost well over $200.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, I have the same projector and was having similar audio issues. It frustrated me a bit but then I tried several things and one of them fixed the issue. Solution: Use projector remote and on google voice controller say " Set volume to max." This will set android volume to max and you can get your audio back to normal. Unfortunately this is the only way to fix this issue as of now. Let me know if it works.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm having the same problem with the projector's built in audio and through my soundbar
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue. I am not certain if it is an update but android tv sound is different than the projector sound. You need to increase the android tv sound in setting.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This projector is absolutely trash. It was good for two weeks and now the audio took a shiiiiittt. I have bought two sound bars and two wires to swap it all out. I have finally done my research and the projector is the issue. Would not recommend.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had to take back the 1st epson 2250 to bestbuy for a replacement. The 1st time I used it the sound from the projector was nice and loud, then almost no sound from the projector even hooked up to powered speakers. The replacement epson 2250 didn't ever get as loud as the 1st on, but it works through my powered speakers on some apps better than others. When I use my laptop thru the hdmi and the powered speakers thru the projector output its much better, but I wanted to use the projector sound by itself so I am disappointed. The picture quality is good but the sound is crop. I don't want to pay a restock fee of over $100 so I will keep it but if I knew about the sound problem I would have not bought this projector.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought this projector six months ago, within three days I have also gone though the same issue and decided to return the product. Best buy asked me to use until they reopen their store (Return closed due to COVID). Later I found that this is not the issue with the projector. Its just a software miscommunication with the Android TV stick. You can access the android tv settings though the home page and go to sound settings turn off system sound. Now sound only comes through your projector speaker and its seriously powerful. I sold my LG sound bar because it doesn't have 3.5mm jack/RCA input. If you are wanna enjoy the DTS and Dolby in full I recommend not to connect through BT. Use wires. I connected to receiver. Its is terribly powerful sound (Sony STR DN1080:5.1.2) The only issue I have found is HDMI audio out. I playing with the projector to overcome this problem. Guys if I return the product it was a huge loss my entertainment.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m having the same issue with the volume and I can’t even connect my Bluetooth surround sound speaker
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Bill, The Home Cinema 2250 has source and volume settings in the menu. Make sure the source is correct and the projector volume is turned up. Are you using the internal speaker or an external device through Bluetooth? You can try resetting the Bluetooth connection. Have you tried using different apps? The Epson support site for the Home Cinema 2250 has FAQs, videos and user guides that may help you. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
