Hello Epson Tean Epson HC2250 has android stick integrrated and i use that as my source. Tried Netflix, Disney, Amazon Video ) and they all have Black Bars at top and bottom. Then i tried Amazon Firestick 4k ( connected it at the back of the projector ) and sams thing. All movies are showing HD but displaying black bars at top and bottom. Manual says that i can view 4k but netflix is not recognizing that i have a fake 4k projector and downscale it to 1080p. Menu > Signal > aspect ratio. Auto is greyed out. I can only set it to Normal > Full and Zoom Normal > black bars at top and bottom Full = same thing zoom = it will make it full but it will be overzied screen and will cut all corners. HC2250 120” projector screen 16:9 Integrated android stick ( also used firestick 4k ) Thanks for your quick reply
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Edward, Do you have bars above and below or all around the projected image? Make sure the source is sending full HD at 1920 x 1080 pixels. That is the native resolution of the projector. If the bars are all around the image, it may be a matter of zooming in or moving the projector. If your bars are above and below the image try changing the HC 2250's Aspect setting in the Signal menu. You may have to force the projector to display at it's native resolution if the source is sending different information. There are FAQs, user's guides and videos on the Epson support site to assist with this type of issue. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
