Can I use a silver tarp as a screen. Say a 16x20 null

Probably, we had a board painted silver and it worked.

I used two 4' X 8' sheets of white paneling, secured them to the wall and then used white gorilla tape to cover seams and screws. I'm not sure about the silver tarp.
