QuestionIs one hdmi wire all that is needed from the projector to the receiver.I am planning on having a cable box,blueray player & internet going into the receiver with 7.1 surround through the hdmi inputs but I am not sure what cables that I need from the receiver to the projector?

QuestionDoes the Epson 5030ub come with a full factory warranty or is it the warranty from Best Buy?

- Answer The best buy warranty "covers the bulb" but really it does not... Best buy will just send you a cheap generic bulb that may be out of spec (Not as much brightness, Produces more heat and fries the projector's electronics, won't last 5000 hrs, etc) and if it kills the projector, then Epson's warranty is invalid because it requires in-spec bulbs. Mfr warranty is 2yrs full parts and labor, they will overnight you a swap projector or you can send yours in for repair. If you use a Citi card you get another 2yrs from your credit card for free.

- Answer the 5030UB has several settings including daylight and dynamic. The quality of the colors will really depend on the lighting in your room. Indirect light through a window is prbobaby ok, but if the sunlight is shining directly on the wall you are wanting to watch it....you will probably be disappointed. The brighter you watch it, the shorter the bulb life.

- Answer This projector DOES NOT have any audio inputs or outputs, & it DOES NOT have any built-in speakers What it DOES have: 2 HDMI (for video only) 1 composite 1 component 1 PC 1 RS232C 1 Trigger Out (to send a signal to motorized screens to come down when the unit is turned on) If you want to use a Chrome Cast, you have to put that on your audio receiver (assuming it has a "monitor out:", that output will then need to go to the projector.

QuestionWhat is the difference between 5030UB and 5030UBeI am looking for a wireless projector. if we look at the reviews 5030UB is recomended by almost 99% people but not the 5030UBe.? which one is a better choice amongs 5030UBe vs 3600e?

I have the projector just shy of the minimum distance and it shows up great on my 100" screen. I believe I have mine right around 12 ft

- Answer I may update this when I actually receive the lamp in the mail, but I purchased the 5030UB at Best Buy, and still sent in the rebate info for the lamp. I got an email notification that my rebate status is in "shipment." So it shouldn't matter.
