- Answer I had a Dewalt T25 security torx bit that, even though it's the star pattern, it still fit better in the M4 screw than the two security hex keys that came with the mount.

QuestionThe instructions say to anchor this into a 2x4 in the “narrow” side of the wood. My ceiling studs are the “wide” way. Will this still work if the anchor screws go through the stud?

- Answer I would say yes. I have mine mounted inside a travel trailer with a piece of 1/2 inch plywood glued to the celling. I did add about 10 washers because the mounting bolts would have gone through past the threads on the lag bolts. You might consider that so insure the threads are secured in the stud.
