• Yes this scanner is wireless. And you can also scan to a USB drive plugged into the rear of the machine. Don't need a computer.

• Hi frank, The WorkForce ES-580W is wireless. You can use Wi-Fi, or a USB cable, or both to scan to a PC or Mac. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
