- Answer Both are not primarily for photo printing. And both print same quality. Difference is fax and ppm i guess. If you don't print often, 2550 is enough for you.

QuestionCan this print to a Thumbdrive? I have the ET 4500 and it doesn't seem to do that. It's a feature I use frequently and even much older, cheaper Epsons have that capability.

- Answer This does not Scan to a thumb drive,if that's what you mean. No printer can print to a thumb drive. This printer does not read a thumb drive or an SD card. This is more of an industrial printer, though I use it at home. This printer works completely wireless. It allows you to print or scan from a computer, smart device, or smart phone. I love it

- Answer We have been able to scan large documents, which included multiple pages sizes. We have done over 50 pages at a time with no scanner relate problems. I believe the number of sheets is only limited by the size of the feeder tray, but I can't say exactly how many sheets it will hold.

- Answer I'd suggest you buy a high quality photo printer. This one is OK but not great at that in my experience.

- Answer While the average home user might only need to fax something a few times a year, when we need a fax - WE NEED A FAX. Yes, you'll be happy you upgraded to the additional features included with the 4500. I also like the two-sided printing and the auto paper feeder. Pay the scant more and enjoy having a lot more features that'll be there when you need them most.

- Answer I am using with Samsung phone and tablet with no issues. Have several choices including Mopria Print Service, Samsung Cloud Print, Samsung Print Service Plug In, Epson Connect Email Print, and I am certain that there are other services like these based on your phone.
