- Answer Never install their updates!! I have had similar issues and just replaced the printer for $140. Bought the same 3820 to be able to use the almost new ink cartridges from it.

QuestionDoes this printer have print from flash-drive capabilities and if so at what USB drive speed (3.0)? Also how many pages will the ADF hold and how many pages in the paper storage tray? Does it print two sided? Does it scan two sided? Thank you.

- Answer Hello Ruby. The WF-3820 can print from a USB drive. USB 3.0 is not supported, and the drive can be up to 2TB in size and formatted in FAT, FAT32, or exFAT. The ADF can hold approximately 35 sheets of 8.5" x 11" sized plain paper, and the paper cassette can hold up to 250 sheets of plain paper. The machine can Automatically print and copy two sides. - Answer Hello Knotfast. We have not tested index cards on the WF-3820. However, the printer supports printing on 3" x 5" paper that weighs no more than 68 lb (256 g/m2). There is an included option to print on thicker paper if you are looking to print invitations.
