QuestionSpecs say it's 22 inches depth, but it appears wider than deep and one pic shows it as 425 mm wide, or 16 inches. So, how many inches wide and how many inches from front to back?

- Answer Unplug all cables. Remove ink cartridges. Let sit a few minutes. Plug in all cables and reseat ink cartridges. This worked for mine.

QuestionI will be printing BLACK ONLY with this computer. Can I print black if I have ONLY the black cartridge installed? Can I print black if one or more color cartridges are empty?

- Answer Printing in black and white only is possible with just the black cartridge installed.

- Answer If you read some of the other answers to that question every one has said that it will do it. Go to the setting on the printer, and find the black and white only. Then change it to black and white. So don't forget to change it back when you get color ink.

- Answer Yes! A setting needs to be changed in the printer properties. At the Maintenance tab, select "Extended Settings". The "Print Density" is 0 for normal paper. When printing card stock, set the "Print Density" to 5. A YouTube video shows how: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XWw9BEHQzM

QuestionIs it necessary to install ink cartridges to set up the printer? I want to use only scanner function for now and not waste my ink cartridges as I know they will go dry but do I really have to install them first in order to use this unit?
