You will need to empty the main dirty water reservoir and refill the tap water reservoir when done cleaning or when full. The dust bin empties to a large vacuum bag that is installed in the station. Once it is full, you will need to throw the bag away and install a new one. I have used mine for 2 months and use the mop.vacuum at least once per week (usually twice). I use it to clean abut 2100 square foot home. I have not had to replace my dust bag yet.
