    • Answer Best Buy needs to correct this specification. It was confusing to me too. I actually have to research more and go to Eufy website to get a clarification about the wired thing. It doesn’t need to be hard wired. It’s indeed a wireless camera that works on a built in battery. The solar panel keeps the battery charged if set up as the source. The solar panel gets attached to the camera with a wire that comes with the camera. I asume it’s for this reason Best Buy has it as wired.

    • Answer No, you need the wired version of this to do that. With the wired version the E340, you need to have the home base 3 with a hard drive that's not included to do 24/7 recording. The one you have can only do events recording because it carries onboard only 8 gb.

    • Answer Yes, these 2 cameras will show in one app. Eufy app will let you add each camera and name it as you want. Pretty easy. Just follow the instructions during the setup. I have my s340 up and running in my backyard for 50 days without any issues. Hope it help.

    • Answer It will be an infrared image, which is fine, if the light is not turned on. If it's programmed to turn on with activity, it will be in color. I prefer the infrared option, I'd rather not let the person on camera be advised that the camera is present and recording.

    • Answer To enable auto tracking on the SoloCam S340: Open the Eufy Security app on your smartphone. Select the SoloCam S340 from your device list. Go to "Camera Settings". Scroll down and select "Motion Detection". Enable the "AI Tracking" option. The camera should now automatically follow a person when they walk past its field of view. However, please note that the camera does not support 360-degree movement.
