Do I need a base station or can I connect to wifi null

You need the eufy base station, I believe it is called the Eufy Security Homebase.

Yes The base has storage and wifi connection to camera

My Eufy phone app hasn't worked in over a week, it is stuck on the 'Choose Region' and I cannot access my HB nor my cameras. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY EUFY SECURITY SYSTEM products, unless you want the constant problems I'm having and total lack of support from Eufy. You have been warned. Eufy sux.
