A:AnswerAnswering my own question. It appears Best Buy got an exclusive to sell this retro looking version of the 2k model, and also offer it in black. Strange choice to make it look like the older model, while the 1080p version now looks more modern.

That being said, it would not be advised, for one thing the cord that it comes with is only about 6” long. The other problem would be that it is designed to be mounted to a junction box in order for the electrical connections to be weather proof so there is no knock out to feed a cord out of the light.

I've set mine at 30 seconds. I also delete meaningless events at the end of the day so I've never come close to the storage limit.
