“I'm split between this Eufy Smart Lock and Schlage Encode for a rental property. Which ones do you recommend ? I know Schlage Encode integrates with apps like iGMS, but is Eufy still better ?”

Absolutely do NOT buy the Schlage. I have 2 rental properties and my house and Schlage has a high failure rate during cold and or rainy days. I can't get into my own house at the moment and I am shopping to replace my schlage. :-/ right now.

The Eufy has the QUICKEST response time (app or physical touch) of all the locks I have used. You can set codes for rental purposes/Airbnb and schedule accordingly and it adheres seamlessly (you can use code without the app or the app as a guest). The battery In the Eufy lasts for long periods and can take multiple open and close without depleting and creating annoyance. No disrespect to the apple August lock gen 4 with the CR123 batteries but that lasts only up 1 month then you have to replace. The Kevo 2nd gen is comparable to the August lock gen 4 Eufy is great and packed with features (doesn’t use a separate door sense to detect if the door is opened or closed). I hope to test the Lockly lock soon....
