I have no idea, just depends on the slot you have on your mb and whether you have enough power to drive it. All I know is I bought one for a pc build and it looks like it may be defective. Lousy two week return period passed, I may be stuck with a dead gpu. Good luck.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It doesn't look like it's compatible. For one thing, the PCI slot doesn't look like a third generation slot. Also, I am unsure the power supply has the 8 pin connector needed to power the graphics card. Here is what the motherboard looks like on the HP 590 P0053W: https://support.hp.com/doc-images/259/c05992202.jpg Additionally, the specs list which doesn't specifically state it has a PCIe Gen 3 slot: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-desktop-pc-590-p0000a/19390500/document/c05991291

They are in the spec, if you expand the ironically named Expansion Slots section: ■ One PCIe x16 socket ■ One PCIe x1 socket ■ One M.2 socket 1, 2230 type for WLAN ■ One M.2 socket 3, 2280 type for SSD This is the official low-resolution photo for the HP 590 P0053W motherboard https://support.hp.com/doc-images/259/c05992202.jpg This is the official motherboard photo for the HP Pavilion 590-P0070, which is very very close to the P0053W if it not identical. More importantly, everything on that board has a label. https://support.hp.com/doc-images/905/c05991719.jpg Here are hi-resolution photos that are actually legible, that I took with my iPhone: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-CspnjcjxwOY_qpTBYY4cds46mD9BVh5?usp=sharing specs https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-desktop-pc-590-p0000a/19390500/document/c05991291 I hope that this additional information helps the next person.
