I went up to 850w just to be sure but a 750w 80+ gold or platinum might be enough. My card hit 430-440watts so...consider that
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.750W is the recommended spec but I would go higher if you plan to overclock and upgrade other power hungry parts in the future. Higher watt PSUs will likely come with the necessary cables with the power connector you will need for this card. Three 8 pin connector cables ain't common in low water PSUs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works fine with a gold 750 PSU I have, it will depend of how stable your PSU output is at that power
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on what your other specs are I'm currently running a 5800x to power the combo I use an 850w power supply I'd say you barely meet the power needed, so I'd recommend an 850w rated power supply at least.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm using a gold rated 650w psu and have had no issues. A 750w would probably be better though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It'll be enough I have a 850w which is overkill still
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This GPU pulls between 230 - 310 watts when im using it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would get an 850w
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Should be enough, but it is close. There is an OC switch that you can just have off always. That’ll pretty much guarantee it never goes over 750 watts. You can (and should) undervolt the card to a point where you can have the oc switch switched on yet not have the card draw over 400 watts (which it can if you let it). You can always return within 15 days for Best Buy. More than enough time to gradually test how much power the card draws (starting low in wattage and gradually going higher using either MSI afterburner or EVGA’s own native Precision X1 software overclocking app) in relation to your system’s total draw of power. These cards apparently are known to spike in power. So the safer bet would be to go with a different brand, or a lower clocked version of a 3080 from EVGA. I’ve only had mine running for a week and use an 850w psu. So I can’t speak from personal experience concerning what your situation would be exactly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I want to say yes, but try using pcpartpicker to create a virtual version of your setup and their engine will calculate the wattage for you.
