A:Answer Considering he has an MicroATX Motherboard could mean his Pc case is really small. When looking for a graphics card, mostly just ensure that the card will fit in the case, the power supply can handle it and has the right connectors. Since your grandson has a Ryzen 5 3400g, it won’t bottleneck some pretty good gpus. I’d recommend looking into a Nvidia 3060 Ti if you are looking for the best performance, they are out of stock online most of the time so I would find a local computer store. If you are on a budget, a 1660 ti can be found online most of the time, will handle 1080p gaming just fine, as well as an rtx 2060. There is also amd where you can find a 5700xt which is a great gpu, if you can find it for around $400. If you want to dive into the used market, you can find some pretty good deals on a 1070 ti, this is an older gpu now 2 generations back but it will still out perform a 1660 ti. To help with your research, I would recommend you look at graphics card on different websites that meet your price range and use userbenchmark.com as a way to look at the performance of the gpu and compare it to others. Hope this helps!
