Does the remote use IR or wifi? null

Hi, gcatt! The Roku Express 4K+ Remote will use RF(radio frequency)as primary control and can utilize IR(Infrared) for backup control.

The Express 4K+ (3941) comes with the WiFi Direct remote, while the non-plus model (3940) comes with the basic IR remote. However, you can add a WiFi remote to the 3940.
