For this device to function properly you need to connect the device to a reliable power source and link this up to your 2.4Ghz WiFi network via the EZVIZ mobile app. With the EZVIZ mobile app, you can view the live videos from your device at all times as long as the device is online, if you wish to view the playback from your device, you need to insert an SD card or subscribe to the EZVIZ cloud play service

- Answer Wi-Fi, just connect the camera with supplied power cord, plug it in and follow the instructions to activate, you must follow step by step, you can always reset if needed. You can subscribe to the cloud or add a micro Sd-card to record action however you can just leave the camera running without an sd card, I set up mine outside on the back porch protected from water/snow. Hope this help.

- Answer I don't know about connecting to weather site, but you can use this indoor camera for "out the window" use. You might have to adjust the lighting & light a bit, but it's very good still!

- Answer The camera comes with adhesive stickers you can stick to a wall but they also come with a magnet metal circle you can screw to the wall and the camera has a magnetic bottom that it can snap too
