“How much does this cost a month? I know there has to be a fee to have an use this. An I'm wanting to get it for my grandkids. My son is in the army an this way we can always stay in touch. Do both parties have to have one for this to work”

There is NO MONTHLY FEE! Once you purchase, you connect to your internet and set up is easy from there. Your grands will be able to talk to their Dad very easily by calling through Facebook Messsnger OR the What's Up APP. Both do NOT need the device. Like iPhones Facetime, and FB message calling, cell phone screens are the way to call/recieve. A plus... you can split screen portal and call multiple persons. I have a 16" and bought my daughter the mini for her college dorm room. So easy to stay in touch. Easy to talk while making dinner, cleaning. Etc.... and great when company is over and everyone can call their loved one TOGETHER!

If one has it and and as long as the other has either the messenger or whatsap app, it will work great for video calls. I do not miss holding my phone. plus it has more features as well that the kids will enjoy
