There's a thick aluminum core base fully surrounded by stainless steel on the saucepans,and stockpot, which promotes rapid, even heating. This cookware set is suitable for use on electric, gas, ceramic and glass stovetops. The saucepans and stockpot are also induction suitable and dishwasher safe, however the skillets are made from aluminum so they are handwash only. All pieces are oven safe to 350 degrees.
