“Does preorders deliver by release day or do they ship after release day?”

My last several physical preorders have been delivered 2-5 days AFTER release date. I seem to recall at least one case in which shipping didn't even occur until one day post-release. I ordered EA Sports College Football Standard Edition on July 10, but am now being told that Best Buy won't send out codes until around 9 p.m. PDT on July 18 (midnight July 19 EDT). I am a former Best Buy associate as well.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope. They sure dont. Theyre pretty quick to advertise though. "Pre order this, Pre order that." Dont do it. Just buy the game on release day, in store. Best buy doesnt care or want you to have your game on release day, theyd rather ship it out the day of, and make you wait a week. The only place ive ever pre ordered a game from, and not received it on release day.

I'm getting nervous about this though because it hasn't shipped out yet. Been awaiting the confirmation shipping email all week.
