Yes battery seems to last much longer, possibly because display is not motion activated. I think wit ability to replace band, it will be a better choice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Charge 2 is just the newer generation of the Charge HR. I had the Charge HR before the Charge 2, and I can say that I hated the original Charge HR. The heart rate monitor on it was pretty much useless, and mine eventually died on me. The Charge 2 seems to be a massive improvement... An accurate heart rate monitor, tracks multiple types of exercise (which the Charge HR did not), and so far working great (had it for about 3 weeks now). I use this every day, and to track everything from weightlifting to agility workouts, to walks / runs / bike rides. I would absolutely recommend the Charge 2 if you had to choose between these two.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Charge HR only had a small display and you have to cycle through to see all of the stats. The Charge 2 has more lines of display (you get the date, time, stats) all at the same time. The other difference is that on the Charge 2, you can receive text messages in addition to phone notifications. I think the display and quality are better in the Charge 2.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Battery does last longer than the hr. Charge 2 looks more like a watch. A little more dressy than the hr.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Much better construction and battery life is great.
