Not touchscreen. There's a button on the side or you can tap the screen/band to see different things. Also there's "quick view" where when you turn your wrist to face you it will show you the time and steps, or something else if you change your settings. Also when you push the button to what you want to see and then tap on the Fitbit screen/band you can see different options. I.e. When you push the button for settings for a workout it might say "run" then you can tap the Fitbit and then go through different workouts like "weights, treadmill, bike" and hold the button to start your workout. So, it isn't touchscreen but you can tap on the screen/band and see different things.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is a mix of touch screen and button use. It's not fully touch screen in that you can only use one simple tap to select things.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only "touchscreen" capability is that by tapping on the device you get to sub-menus. When you press the button on the side (or flick your wrist hard enough), it wakes up the device and then you can cycle through the different options by pressing the button sequentially. Mine is set up to go: time display, breathing exercise, heart rate display, activity selection, alarm, stopwatch, battery indicator, back to time display. Within each option there are additional submenus that are accessed NOT by pressing the button but by then TAPPING the Fitbit. This is the only "touchscreen" capability. For example once I get to the activity selection, I can tap and start going through different activities like cycling, walking, running, weights, etc. If I press the button again and go to alarms then I can start tapping and it will cycle through all my different alarms. Reading this I see it's a little confusing. Fitbit allows a great deal of choice in how you set up the device, but you basically have only two ways to navigate: pressing the button and tapping on the screen. It's not a true touchscreen.
