• No, it's sweat resistant but you can't swim or shower with it on.

• They say it is water resistant. No showers and definitely off for swimming.

• No, the Fitbit is not waterproof. They are water resistant. Meaning you can't take a shower or go swimming. If you are washing your hands and water splashes on your Fitbit it will be ok. Just wipe it off to keep the Fitbit dry. Hope that helps.

• it says it can resist water up to a certain depth for a certain amount of time. I take mine off when getting in the shower, however water running down my arm from washing my face or washing dishes has not seemed to affect it at all. But I do make sure to dry off the back where the sensors are immediately after as well
