You don't "have" to carry your phone with you. The Fitbit will hold all the data and it will Sync with your phone or Mac/PC later. However if you like to run and you tell the Fitbit App your running it will track your location, speed and distance more accurately using the Phone gps. The Fitbit can only calculate distance based on the number of steps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You do not have to have your phone with you. It has a button you press that shows your stats on the screen. You can late sync it to your phone to keep a record.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use the band without having your phone with you and see your stats. You won't be able to see any historical information of course but your current stats will display on the band.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From their website: All trackers have the ability to store up to 7 days of detailed minute-by-minute data. If you wait longer than 7 days before syncing, you may only see the most recent week's detailed data. Summary data (calories, distance, steps, and floors) will be stored for 30 days. If your tracker measures heart rate, summary heart rate data will be stored as well. If you sync with your phone daily you would be fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The display on the fit bit will display your basic info steps taken, stairs climbed, heart rate, active caloris, and time. More detailed information is available via the app or online web site.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you do not. it syncs with the phone and downloads the data but you don't have to have the phone on you for it to function.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. You don't need to carry your phone while excersizing. It will sync steps, and HR later when you want. I've sometimes not syncd for long periods of time (10-12 hours) just because I forgot to sync the night before. You also have the ability to do an all day sync, but that really drains the battery. It connects to your phone over bluetooth, and I do find that I need to be within close proximity to my phone to get notifications though. I'll leave my phone at my desk and talk with coworkers, and can hear my phone ring, and wont get a notification buzz on my wrist until I get back to near my desk.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can access HR, Steps, calories, number of miles, floors climbed, and the time on the Fitbit. The notification works wirelessly so I would assume your phone would need to be in range to get call notification. (not 100% sure though)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you don't have to carry iphone with you. Fitbit tracks steps, calculates miles, and tells you how many calories burned.
