My battery would initially last about 3-4 days before needing to be charged. With my 1st FitBit Charge HR I noticed it stopped holding a charge as long after about a year. I'm guessing its like the issue with overcharging a cell phone battery. It can create a memory and only charge to that point...However, I can say the Jawbone really does have a much better battery life.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, sounds like you've got a battery that's failing. If you're in warranty, see about a replacement.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No not normal. Mines last well over a week before I have to charge. May be defective. Hope you purchased geek protection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try letting your Fitbit completely discharge to the point will it will not even turn on, then charge it to its capacity. Do this for the next three charges. You should see it lasting longer and longer. They say the new batteries don't develop memory, but I have found they still do sometimes. If this works for you, make sure in the future you don't charge it until you get the email warning that it is low.
