You can own a Fitbit without a phone, smart or otherwise. If all you want to do is to tell time and watch for irregular heartbeat, the first part of your intent is doable without a smart phone, but the second part “watch for irregular heartbeat” you will need a smart phone to keep track of your regular heart beat and when you heart beat goes up and down. These Fitbit devices don’t have large enough screens or technology to monitor your heart rate on your wrist.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use it but it has to be registered and synced from a smartphone or computer and updated from time to time. MY husband just uses to keep track of steps and time spent exercising and heart rate. I update it for him and maybe someone could help you with that or even see if the store could help with that. I hope someone else has another solution for you. good luck. It is an accurate product and worth purchasing
