They are both similar the only difference I noticed is fitbit ONE is more protected. It has a clip and the ultra jus slides on. I've had both and I go with ONE.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought the original Fitbit which was worn on waistband - like the Fitbit One. I didn't like wearing it there - was always afraid it would fall off into the toilet. The Fitbit Flex a better reminder for me - having it on my wrist - because I am a visual person.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Ultra is no longer in production which is why it is more expensive. The problem with the Ultra (and I went through at least 3 of them) is that it is not sweat-proof. If you worked out hard, like I did, it would inevitably fail (depending on where you would wear it I suppose). The new One tracker solves that. They made it sweat-proof and ever since FitBit's customer service upgraded me from the Ultra to the One I have had zero issues. I've been wearing my various FitBits now since February 2012 and love them!
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Get the Ultra. It shows the number of stairs you climb in a day. I have had the other and really felt like I was missing out not having the stairs on there
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i have never used the ultra , but the one is awesome , and its around $100 here
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think the Ultra has been discontinued so I think the One is your best bet. I've had it for a year and it's been great except for the fact that I lose it all the time and I finally lost it permanently when it fell out of my pocket somewhere. I'd seriously consider the new Fitbit Charge. I just upgraded to that and it has been wonderful.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Better is a matter of what you want it to do. If Sleep tracking is important to you, then make sure it has that. if steps or stairs or whatever feature you value most isn't available on the one you pick, then you've thrown money away :( I spent almost a month before I made my purchase, but I'm happy with what I bought. You have to decide if the feature is worth the money. Best of luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'd go with the cheapest model available, unless you have sleep apnea or some other compelling reason to know how much you toss and turn in your sleep.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wanted something that was not worn on my wrist.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I love the Fitbit One because it has an altimeter!
