Do you need Alexa to use the Alexa on the fitbit? null

you do not need an Alexa to use on your Versa 2. You just need to setup an Amazon account (this is free) to initially set it up on your watch.

I use Alexa occasionally to set a timer but it seems I have to sync with my phone on a regular basis as it says connection lost. Not sure why connection gets lost but it’s annoying so I don’t use it much.
