“What is the Woven Jacquard Band like? Is it woven fabric or woven metal? If fabric, does it absorb water if you are swimming?”

• The woven bands feel like fabric. It seems that it is covered with a layer of coating. The manual suggested it is NOT water resistant (though the fitbit versa 2 SE is) - should not use for swim/exercise/shower. I wear it for gym (though I am not a big sweater during exercise). P.S. I did try to switch the woven to the spare silicone bands just in case the woven band may wear down for my gym exercise. However, all the spare green silicone band do not fit and cannot be secured to my Versa 2 SE - due to it wider and thicker wedge base (at the pin end). I am still communicating with Fitbit customer service to find out WHY and how to get a replacement.

• It’s woven fabric. I’d guess that it would absorb water, so if you want to use it swimming, switch out to the included sport/silicone band.
