• The fitbit app goes with different computers so it isn't an issue. In terms of charging, the product's battery life lasts a year, not necessitating a connection (other than bluetooth) to your Mac. I don't own a Mac but I use the fitbit app with Windows, iPad, and iPhone. (Look for the fitbit app for use with the Macs!)

• It should work with your Mac. However, Fitbit gears its use towards smartphone technology, so if you have an iPhone or Android, you should not have any problems.

• Dottie, Yes, you should have no trouble using the fitbit zip with your mac. I recommend utilizing the fitbit app for smartphones though, as it is much easier to navigate and utilize.

• As long as you can plug the wireless USB sync dongle into your computer (this is the smaller USB device--not the charging cable), and bring your tracker near to it to begin pairing you should not have any problems. I have a Mac and have not had any problems. There is also a FitBit app for your phone that you can use as well.
