Yes, you can seal chips and cereal for sure. As far as non-foodsaver bags, i would assume so. As long as they are not drastically different in thickness, there is no reason why it wouldn't work. We almost exclusively use this to seal chips and cereal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only way I've seen other than food saver bags used is mason jars. You could put anything in the jars and seal them. Video on YouTube
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can. One of the first things I did was to reseal a potato chip bag. It re-seals the bag just as well as the factory seal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can reseal the chips, pretzel and other plastic bags using the food saver, just flatten the edges well and just seal, don’t extract the air because will crunch the chips, however you can “squeeze” some of the air as you seal it, or use mason jars, there’s an attachment to extract the air from the jars and seals the lids, works pretty good for chips, cereals and cookies, etc…
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The person saying it doesn’t work has no idea. Quite an idiotic statement to make when it literally works 100%. Like bro…do you even own one of these.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have been able to seal everything that I have attempted to seal. the sky is the limit. minus paper obviously. LOL
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have to disagree with the first two answers! i have tried to reseal other bags, like frozen veggies, Doritos bag, pancake mix. It DOESN'T work! Now, if you're talking just about resealing, not vacuum sealing, that would work because you're only using the seal. You can seal/reseal anything you put in a mason jar.
