- Answer It’s a quarter turn to the left to remove it. When replacing the filter place the grate so the word “front” is facing you. And give it a quarter turn clockwise. You should hear it click. I hope this helps.

- Answer You might have to force the filter cover a bit. Also, "left" and "right" are terms that apply to translational/side-to-side movement; they don't correspond to rotation. You grab the filter cover and rotate it counter-clockwise to open, replace the filter, return the filter cover to its "pop-off" orientation, and then rotate the cover clockwise.
