Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your inquiry. A number of our air conditioners are designed without a drain. In this respect, condensation buildup is circulated across the condenser coils to help keep the coils cool and to maintain proper refrigerant. In very humid conditions, some water may still drain from the hole in the base of the A/C unit to remove larger quantities of moisture from the room – this is common. However, since water is constantly dripping outside, this typically demonstrates that the appliance may be improperly installed.
